We invested more than RMB 80 million to bring in Canadian sodium chlorite production technology. At the time it was built it was the most advanced system of its kind in China, and it filled a gap in the domestic market.

Build-out
Four commissioning phases in eight years.
Capacity here was added deliberately, one commissioned phase at a time, rather than promised ahead of the plant existing.

Phase I
Relocated out of the old town site into the Gaomi industrial park and commissioned the first automated line.

Phase II
Second line put into operation, roughly doubling sodium chlorite output.

Phase III
Third phase commissioned, taking sodium chlorite capacity to its current level.

CEC line
A dedicated chloroethylene carbonate line built for the lithium battery electrolyte market.

Safety
Prevention first, people first.
Those two slogans are painted across the pipe racks on site. Behind them sit the national Safety Production Licence, an ISO 45001 occupational health and safety management system, and an ISO 14001 environmental management system.
Sodium chlorite is an oxidiser. Handling it properly is not a compliance formality here — it is the reason the plant is designed the way it is.
